Narava je neusahljiv vir inspiracije za pisatelje, pesnike in filozofe. Tudi Ralph Waldo Emerson je pisal o njej. V članku je zbranih nekaj njegovih najlepših citatov.

Dogajanje v naravi – tako rastlinski kot živalski svet – že od nekdaj predstavlja inspiracijo za številne otroške zgodbe, poezijo in prozo.
